Story
Capeta lost his mother at a very young age, he lives with his father who works in a construction company as a labor. He often comes home late because of overtime, so to avoid his father worrying for him Capeta has become independent. Capeta is a elementary school student. He tries to act tough in front of his father but ultimately he is just a kid. And also he is bullied by Nobu Andou which makes him feel worse, but he gets support from his classmate Monami Suzuki.
One day Capeta's father visits go-kart race track for work, where we sees young go-kart drivers racing at high speed. After seeing that he gets inspired. Then he decides to collect scrapped parts and begins working to built a go-kart. He wanted to give the go-kart as a gift to his son. One day Capeta and Monami sneak into his workplace and they see a go-kart has been built from scrapped parts, also there was Capeta's name attached to the go-kart. The kart is mostly complete and functional but it doesn't have an engine.
Capeta cannot resist himself from trying the kart. He takes the kart and drives from downhill on a wet road. But that was a dangerous thing to do, it can cause a serious accident. After riding the kart he finds the ultimate joy in his life, the engine of Capeta's heart is ignited with a new passion as he journeys into the world of racing.

Ending In Season 1- After struggling in the start of the race, he finally manages to overcome his situation and gets the first position but suddenly his car engine burst out before the finish line, but at the end he manages to won his first Formula Stellar race.

Ending (From My Perspective) - His dream was to beat Naomi but it couldn't happen so I would made than happen. I also wanted him to represent Japan in Internal Formula 1, so I would also made that happen.

Overall My Review - It's a good sports anime to watch. I watched it in childhood when it was telecasted on Cartoon Network. I love racing, specially Formula 1. When I watched it I was thrilled, I loved his journey form a amateur level racer to a Professional racer, they showed it perfectly. This is one of the best racing anime. It has showed us that your hard work will be paid of one day just continue your work. If you love sports anime or basically say racing anime then you are going to enjoy it.

What will Happen in Season 2 (My Thought)
He was only competing on national level, this time he would go for international competition. And also participate in various sports events. He will become more stronger after gaining more experience. One day he will become world class racer.
